this symptom* About one-half the patients esssalned at tlis Reconstruction
Hospital also glowed it# When tha ethyl, chloride process first was "developed
by. the' chemists at Bayogy, they felt auit confident tl&t it mi$it prove less
hazardous than the etlyl bromide-process, but animals poisoned with both, substances,
in experiments rads for the Coasalttes at -Baye&y, sbowed that the reverse appeared
to ho the case# Horeover, at the du. Pont plant the original bromide process was
sirraltansously conducted while the newer ethyl chloride process was oparated, yet
itpraa in the latter work that the recant sadden cut-break of poisoning occurred*

At Dayton, with the reduction of exposure to tetraethyl load, and with
