Mr. Morton Sterling Bureau of Air Pollution Control City of Detroit 414 City County Building Detroit 26, Michigan
Dear Mr. Sterling:
In reply to your telephone call of this morning, as well as to the letter received from E. M. Adams, this will confirm my agreement in writing, of January 28th with Professor Rossano to participate in one of the sessions of the meeting of the Air Pollution Control Association in Detroit in June. (It will be helpful to me in this connection to know the precise date and hour of this session, for June of this year is full of meetings, and I shall probably be unable to be in attendance in Detroit for more than 1 day.)
My paper is listed in Frofessor Rossano's tentative program as paper #4, entitled "Limitations and drawbacks," I should prefer to revise this title just a bit, although there is nothing especially wrong with it as it stands. It would be slightly more to the point, perhaps, to phrase it "Faults, limitations and disadvantages in Air Quality Standards."
You will want a confirmation of my name, title, association or address, whichever of these you may find it desirable to include in the program. I'll give you several handles and you can discard any of them:
Robert A. Kehoe, M.D., Professor of Industrial Medicine, Director, Department of Preventive Medicine and Industrial Health, and Director of the Kettering Laboratory, College of Medicine, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, (Hilo.
Adams asked me for an abstract or something similar by the end of February or thereabouts. He said also that he wanted a manuscript for making preprints, but he did not give me a date.
I'll do my best to get an abstract to you (or to him) shortly, and
