Dear Mr. O'Leary:
I would appreciate your help in an experiment I am undertaking which is the possibility of using an insulated smoker for use inside of the home.
Enclosed is a diagram of what I have in mind, and if it would be possible for you to have one mdaeup in your experimental department using materials that are fire-proof, lightweight, and have insulating qualities, it would be greatly appreciated.
Currently, all smokers are made of metal and their radiation of heat prohibits their use in the average airconditioned home. I believe, there is a limited market for the unit that could be used in the home, and if I can find the proper materials to develop a smoker, your company would benefit through the sale of raw materials to me.
It is my intention to use a controlled heat source that would have a maximum temperature of 700 degrees. The enclosed diagram envisions a smoker that is able to handle a turkey of approximately 20 pounds.
Your kind help and consideration in this mater be a stepping stone in my future.
