Reinhart, Acting Chief, Section of Industrial Hygiene, State De partment of Health. You will note that he requests permission to make a survey of plant conditions sometime in the near future. Mr. Fisher and I have discussed this request, andfbelieve under the circumstances we can do nothing hut accede, since refusal would probably place us in a very poor position with the State people. I should appreciate your advice as to whether you con cur, so that we may he in position to admit Mr. Reinhart when he arrives. C. W. In such a survey we note the potential health hazards the control methods in use, and collect atmospheric samples to determine the amount of contaminant present. The samp ling Is frequently omitted when the control measures' are * obviously adequate.
