In reply to your letter of the 3rd, and confirming telephone conversation with "Jeff" from your office, I told "Jeff" he could make arrangements with Ben Garvis to pay him $10.00 to 12.00 per week, for a limited time, depending exactly on what arrangement can be made with him, so he can go to the oountry and see if he cannot get straightened out. I should imagine this would run for at least six months before he can begin to tell whether he is going to get better or not, so it will be satisfactory to have the arrangement run at least six months, and his pay to go on for this time, at $10.00 or 12.00 a week.
