The following changes are being made in the Endurance House Paint line.
Y-1861 Shutter Green is being changed to lead-free pigments and driers, with pigmentation being phthalo green and chromium oxide the color retention is expected to be excellent. This formula will be the first of the alkyd house paints to have a lead-free drier system. The driers are calcium, cobalt and zirconium. The cost increase is $.58 per gallon.
Y-1831-B Endurance Tile Ivory and y-1863-B Endurance Clearwater are the last of the "C" pigment replacement formulas. They are very similar to the Y-1801 formula that has been in production for 6 months. The cost increase is $.07 for Y-1863 and $.07 for Y-1831.
Y-1805-B-CH, Endurance Windsor Gray is to be sent to Chicago only since this is a temporary formula to reduce the lead drier to below 0.5%.
