Thank you for sending in your Seasonal Startup Checklist after receiving the violation notice. I have returned the violation to compliance but the public notice is still required.
On the form you wrote that the water system closes to the public October 1. For the Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) you are required to collect a total coliform sample every month you serve water to the public, even if it is only one day in the month. Is October 1 the last day the system will be serving water to the public or would it be September 30? I want to be sure EPA has the correct information in our database so that we don't send you a notice of violation when the system was no longer open. Please let us know if your end of season is different than October 1.

Here is the seasonal startup checklist for the Vedauwoo handpump PWS ID WY5680068. Be advised that I have placed a self report use sheet at this pump to ascertain how many people are using it and currently, it is falling below the threshold for EPA monitoring. I will continue to monitor its use but the EPA should anticipate an information change form request to have this pump removed from EPA monitoring for low use.
