Good morning,
I have complied a straw agenda based on everyone's input and added a few topics that Anne and I would like to cover with you. Please give the straw a quick look and let us know if you have other topics that you would like to discuss.
David Ross, Assistant Administrator for the Office of Water is unable to join us and has asked Anna Wildeman, Deputy Assistant Administrator to talk about nutrients. Ken Wagner and Erin Chancellor are planning to join us.
1. Cooperative Federalism - General Discussion a. What is working well and where are areas for improvement in providing clarity to the regulated community and public?
2. PFOA/PFAS - General Discussion and Information Sharing 3. Nutrients - Briefing and Information Sharing 4. Early engagement on FY 2020-2021 National Program Guidances - Feedback & Input, Define Next Steps
a. Identifying how EPA and States will work together to advance the FY2018-2022 EPA Strategic Plan b. Reinforcing flexibilities of the National Environmental Performance Partnership System 5. Office of Water Core Measures - Update and Discussion a. Office of water is asking us to obtain the state's priorities on core measures and get input on what
measures states see aligning with those priorities. This process is underway and we want to update/inform state leadership.
Please let us know your travel plans so we can settle on the meeting start/stop times. We are proposing 9:30 am to 3:30 pm to allow everyone to fly-in and fly-out on the same day. Fiowever, these times are flexible. Additionally, Chery Nichols (214-665-3169) will be making arrangements for lunch orders and reaching out shortly.
