(2) If crystalline form is determined (by analysis), then one should use the appropriate TLV value for that crystalline form. Final subcommittee approval was obtained and standard released for issue, after nonobjection by Occupational Health Advisory Committee on asbestos. 3. S5T - Proposed Standard on Lead - L. F. Percival/W. C. Haaf Draft No. 5 has been approved for serial letter issue. 4. S12T - Strategy for Work-Space Sampling for Exposure to Chemicals (10/79) - K. A. Chen Standard was revised to delete references to Logan 2. K. A. Chen discussed revisions made in latest pink sheet issue. Subcommittee decided to include previous concentration definitions. K. A. Chen to make revisions and forward to R. Crozier for pink sheet distribution to subcommittee. 5. S14T - Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) - J. F. Doughty Pink sheets were reviewed. Standard is released for serial letter issue. 6. S13T - Hardware for Work-Space Sampling and Analytical Methods (11/80) L. T. Freeland Included COPS sampler in Section 9 per letter from Freeland to Percival. 7. Developed Standards Assignments for 1984 Copies are attached. Essential New Standards (2) SHOULD BE DONE (3) WOULD BE DONE IF MONEY AND MANPOWER WERE AVAILABLE BE EXTREMELY SELECTIVE IN ASSIGNING PRIORITIES. THE IMPORTANCE OF MINIMUM ESSENTIAL STANDARDS IS AGAIN EMPHASIZED. 2. Indicate only man-days; do not try to determine dollars. 3. Note whether man-days are to be expended by Design, ESD, ER&D, or Construction.
