The history to this is that OSHA published a request for comments on the need for a generic monitoring and generic medical surveillance standard some 18 months ago. This survey is OSHA's continuing attempt to gather information regarding the need for these standards. I would recommend we participate in the survey. Following are items to consider if you choose to participate. 1. The plant should call KCA or the OSHA contact Jennifer Simmons (202-523-7177) to arrange for an interview time. This will avoid phone tag and allow us to have the appropriate people available at our convenience. 2. I think Dr. Drumwright should be the contact for the medical questions.
