Tonic - DPJRC To bring everyone up to date on tlie status of the exempt formulas shown under "0", "E", and "X" designations, and their adoption, the program Is as follows: "0" Formulas - These formulas required the plugging in of conforming S-330 and S-332 and, about a month ago, I hod Mr. Ed Romay moke a telephone check of all the plants, and he reported at that time that all plants had either made the chungc or would make it that particular week. TliLn means that we are now on exempt production for all of the "0" formulas. "E" Formulas - Jpe Kingston tells me that these formulas have been sent to the plants/ that requested them but had not been sent to all the plants who wouLd manufacture them. As a result of this, he is now making a list which will show all of the "K" formulas and where they have already been sent, and where they yet need to bo sent to cover all manufacturing plants. I will have this list next week and can then issue a bulletin instructing all of the plants to immediately start manufacturing these "E" formulas, using the old labels until their stocks are depleted. 'We will then phase in the labels marked "GB", so that we do not lose any money on phase-in of the new labels, "X" Formulas - There are only 22 of these formulas, and I am requesting that Joe Kingston notify me each time he receives one of these formulas and, then, T. will send out. a bulletin to all plants instructing them to adopt this formula immediately, urn* up their old ntock of labels, and then phase in the now lnbe1.fi allowing the "CIl1', I assume that this program will be satisfactory to all and, if not, please let me know.
