The attendees were: Chris Turner, Ray McGhee, Bobby Hawkins, Rodger Collins, Alton Reeves, Dean Honeycutt and David Hollis. The topics discussed were: 1) 1984 Review a. Injuries b. VCM Exposure 2) 1985 Department Goals 3) New Procedure for Yard Operator Assistance 4) 1985 Safety Program A lot of discussion was centered around causes of VCM overexposure and methods to reduce exposure without respirators. This included both Vinyl and Maintenance employees. The 1985 Safety Program as outlined in the following pages shows a commitment to make everyone aware that safety is a full time job.
