Dear Doctor Kehoe:
'
May 15, 1940
aorry to be so tardy in answering your very kind letter, but I have been traveling quite a bit since ray return to South America. I was indeed very sorry not to have met you in
Cincinnati, but Doctor Sanders made my short stay very pleasant
and profitable. He supplied me with plenty of information, took
me through your laboratories, and brought out many interesting points and advised regarding the handling of lead compounds from the medical standpoint.
I wish to thank you for the various reprints in Spanish you sent me. I have already passed these pamphlets on to our
doctors on the Staff and we all intend to carry out all precaution'
ary measures advised. Ue will be very much alert in instituting
proper technic and warning our people with all possible emphasis
as to the serious hazards which may be associated with the clean
ing out of storage tanks, especially when they have been used for
a long period of time for the blending and storage of leaded
gasoline.
..
I shall drop you a line from time to time to let you know of our progress and our difficulties if any, and at the same time to avail ourselves of your very valuable professional
Dr. Robert A. Kehoe advice in this field.
