Dear all,
With many regulatory changes, studies, consultations ahead of us and with the speed of new developments, we feel it is important we keep track of the Commission's work so that we can prepare industry's contributions to your different initiatives and inform our members in a timely manner. This is part of our support to the implementation of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability. Therefore, I am contacting you to offer a meeting with our respective teams, to review progress and exchange views on key topics from the Strategy. For this meeting, we could focus on REACH and CLP (it's likely we will need to select specific topics). We have had such exchanges in the past (prior to the Strategy) and found it useful.
Since we would do this online, it would be good to involve team members. Indeed, topics are increasingly inter-connected and from the Cefic perspective, I feel it is important that everyone keeps track of the developments. We would probably need 1.5 to 2 hours, ideally before the summer break, if possible.
Should you think this would be useful, we can work on a list of REACH and CLP topics. Thank you for considering. We look forward to your feedback or alternative proposals.
