I le arned today th a t In d u s try comments must be presented by Noventer 30, 1978 in o rd e r to be considered, th e re fo re , please review th is document and forward your comments to me, as soon as p o s s ib le , so t h a t an in d u s try response may be prepared. This w i l l be presented by CTFA to the government agency. In the meantime, the CTFA legal s t a f f 1s review ing our legal p o s itio n . Among the th in g s to be considered are: 1. The f a c t th a t as f a r as we know, the proposed standard (which reduces the amount o f re s p ira b le a irb o rn e t a lc allowed from 3 mg/m3 to 0.1 mg/m3) has n o t been o f f i c i a l l y published in the Federal R e g is te r f o r conments. 2 . The tim e frame allowed f o r p re p a ra tio n and submission o f conments is e xtre m e ly s h o rt. 3.
