Dear Mr. Grieve, Roberts Spray 'tnohinea Use of Respirators by Plasterers I send you herewith cony of a letter which I have to-day received from the Inspector of Factories at Hull in reply to toy letter of 19th April, of which I sent you a copy. The whole question is of course considerably wider than merely supplying a few respirators to the plasterers involved in this particular contract, and the position is not therefore as simple as the Factory Inspector, in the t; ird paragraph of his letter, appears to assume. As soon as we admit that plasterers workin/' near the machines should wear respirators, the question arises as to where the line should be drawn, and by analogy we might then be asked to see that the same action is taken wherever any other trades are working near on board ship.
