IZJ Credentials Presented IZJ CBI warning to facility provided The following information was obtained verbally from Ms. Jimenez unless otherwise noted. Process Description: Derichebourg's Wallisville Road location specializes in accepting primarily non-ferrous material for recycling, but does accept ferrous material, including appliances and vehicles, brought to the facility by members of the public. Staff Interview: Ms. Jimenez stated that the Wallisville Road yard ships its ferrous material to its Wharf St. location, and therefore pays a lower price for ferrous material than other surrounding yards, resulting in a small amount of ferrous material being received at the Wallisville Road location. No refrigerant recovery is performed on-site for appliances or vehicles that may arrive at the Wallisville Road location containing refrigerant.
TOUR INFORMATION
EPA toured the facility: Yes Data Collected and Observations: We observed the ferrous scrap pile. Conditions were very muddy/flooded which prevented us from examining the material up close, but there appeared to be a vehicle included in the pile. We obtained a copy of a scale ticket on which there is a statement titled "CFC REMOVAL." Photos and/or Videos: were taken during the inspection. Field Measurements: were not taken during this inspection.
