Ziegfeld, Assistant Secretary The meeting was called to order with Mr. Clinton H. Crane in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting of June 4, 1943, were approved. REPORT OF THE TREASURER The Treasurer presented a report of the expenditures fran January 1 to April 30, 1944, which was approved, and is attached as Exhibit "A.n L IA00299 Board of Directors Meeting Minutes 2- - May 15, 1944 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS SUNSHINE MINING COMPANY WESTERN ELECTRIC CO.INC. An application for reinstatement of membership in the Lead Industries Association from the Sunshine Mining Company, Yakima, Washington, and an application for associate member ship in the Lead Industries Association from the Western Electric Company, Inc., New York, having been received, they were presented and considered. WHEREUPON it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the Sunshine Mining Company be reinstated as a member of the Lead Industries Association, and the Western Electric Com pany, Inc. be admitted to associate membership in the Lead In dustries Association, and the Secretary was authorized to notify these companies accordingly. MEMBERSHIP STATUS DICKSON WEATHERPROOF NAIL COMPANY A request received from the Dickson Weatherproof Nail Company for a change in membership from an associate to a regular member, was duly presented and considered. ^WHEREUPON it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the associate membership of the Dickson Weatherproof Nail Company be changed to regular membership, and the Secretary was authorized to notify the Dickson Weatherproof Nail Company accordingly. APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Chairman stated it was in order to appoint an Executive Committee. WHEREUPON, with the consent of the Board, the Chairman appointed the following as members of the Executive Committee: Clinton H. Crane, Chairman F. H. Brownell F. F. Colcord L. E. Hanley F. W. Rockwell ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Chairman stated that it was in order to elect of ficers of the Lead Industries Association.
