As I suspected, they were not intimately acquainted with cases filed appealing an Industrial Commission decision, so it was time well spent to drive the 50 miles to Hillsboro. For your file I am attaching copies of the following: Notice of Commencement of Proceedings to Review a Decision and Opinion on Review of the Industrial Ccamdssion and Written Request for Issuance of Summons Summons Certificate of Mailing Receipt for costs of record Workers' Compensation Bond I suggested to the Clerk a return date of March 31, 1987, which is the full 60 days which is allowable by the Act. The ccnmission ordinarily takes at least that long to file their record with the Circuit Clerk. Essentially that's an appearance date, although the Clerk did put the case on the docket for 10:00 a.m., March 31. Just prior to that date, I'll get in touch with the Clerk, and perhaps talk to the judge and tell them that there is no need for anyone to be present.
