When you spoke with me over the telephone, no mention was made of the fact 'that you were seeking information which you would then use in developing a label for your lead or lead bearing products. Cer tainly, I do not feel in a position to- advise you concerning either the legal or health aspects of your labeling practices. I think such advice should be.sought through your legal counsel. For an opinion on the possible hazards to children from ingestion of lead came, I am forwarding your letter, along with a copy of this reply, to our Manager of Environmental Health, Dr. Jerome F.
