This year's conference will assess the worldwide outlook for A/C pipe and factors which will be decisive in shaping the supply-demand curve in 1982-83. The session during which you are scheduled to speak will focus on the U.S. outlook and include presentations by yourself, Agnes Timothy (CT), Fred Timpe (CT) and John Fischer (J-M). As requested by AACPP's Executive Committee and programmed by Staff, Ms. Timothy will address the U.S. Economic Outlook. You, Fred and John will examine collectively, yet independently, the dynamics of current market trends from three related, but different perspectives; respectively, market outlook, resin outlook, fiber outlook. Recognizing that some overlap will be unavoidable, we would ask that your assessment focus primarily on the outlook for asbestos fiber and its impact on A/C pipe markets. Your presentation should be formal in tone, 20 minutes in length and, where appropriate, supplemented by graphics or handout materials.
