(CIV) Subject: DON PFC/PFAS Strategy Road Map - edits and responses to comments
All,
Thank you for the many edits, comments, and suggestions regarding version 1 of this strategy road map. We spent a lot of time reviewing and addressing your input. Attached are 3 files that show how the majority of comments were addressed. In the next couple days I plan to smooth the strategy road map (first attachment) and will distribute version 2. Our plan is this will be a living document and as decisions are made on paths forward, this will be updated and subsequent policy or direction will be issued.
Since there were so many comments and in a couple different formats, I want to let you know what the attachments mean. 1. If there was a comment and it was addressed with edited text (in first attachment), I deleted the comment as it was addressed and you will see the change in tracked changes. For the second and third attachments, I responded to the comments and made any specific edits in attachment 1. 2. If a comment was not addressed, I added a response to the comment describing why it was not addressed or how it would be considered in the future. 3. If there were multiple, similar comments, I deleted some and responded to a couple for context.
If as you review responses to your comments and changes to the document, you feel I did not address your concern, please let me know. I am happy to discuss, and we want to do this right. There are many moving parts here, so we are trying to keep them all aligned as we move forward.
VR, Richard
