On of the two Lamella Settlers was found to be a contributing factor due to internal damage probably incurred during installation. This problem has been corrected by the manufacturer on-site. As related in earlier phone conversations, PPG believes this event constitutes "upset conditions". The newly installed control equipment was and continues to be operated in accordance with design. PPG is continuing to investigate metals removal enhancements such as additives or refined mechanical operating parameters.
