Remove the battery cover and disconnect the batteries. 4. Slacken, unscrew and remove the nut securing the starter motor electrical lead to the starter motor and disconnect the lead. 5. Slacken, unscrew and remove the two bolts securing the starter motor and remove the starter motor. 6. Slacken, unscrew and remove the four bolts securing the flywheel lower front cover and remove the cover. 7. On vehicles fitted with the 4-310 transmission, slacken, unscrew and remove the five bolts securing the clutch housing bottom cover and remove the cover. .8 Slide the dutch release bearing and hub assembly off thy fingers of the release arm fork and withdraw the bearing and hub assembly via the transmission's main drive shaft aperture in the dutch housing. 9. Press the clutch release bearing off the hub. 10. Place a suitable jack under the sump at the rear of the engine with a piece of soft timber between the jack and the sump. Raba the jack to take the weight of the angina. ' 11. Slacken, unscrew and remove the self ^ looking nut from the dutch' housing to chassi. crass member mounting bolt on each rids of the housing.
