File No. 4.05 Dear Dr. Dibeler: As requested in your letter of August 9, 1957, we have shipped to your attention a three-gram sample of trimethyl-Iso propyl lead. However, at the present time we do not have a sample of triiaethyl-tert-butyl lead. Because of the toxic nature of tills material it is recommended that it be handled In a hood haying a minimum air velocity at the front opening of 125 linear feet per minute. In accordance with our safety regulations you will find enclosed (l) precautions for handling organic lead compounds in laboratories, and (2) a release concerning the use of the material.
