I had the pleasure of meeting with Administrator Pruitt a couple of weeks ago. I brought the CEO of Renewable Energy Group, Dan Oh, the largest American producer of advanced biofuel with me to discuss the importance and relevance of the biodiesel industry to our great country. After our visit I had mentioned to Scott that President Trump asked me to plan a rally for him in Iowa. I suggested that he'd come along on that trip and perhaps could tour one of REG's state of the art biodiesel plants. He said he'd love to come to Iowa and asked that I gave him the date once I knew it. The date is now confirmed that the President will be traveling on Thursday, June 1 to Cedar Rapids Iowa 7pm and I'd love to have Administrator Pruitt as our guest if his schedule would allow. Thank you for your time. I'm Fired Up! I know this is a little short notice, but Arch Coal's Snr. VP for Strategy & Public Policy, Deck Slone (who spoke to Administrator Pruitt several weeks ago at a National Mining Association meeting) will be in town next Wednesday. Does the administrator have any time next Wednesday to meet with Mr. Slone? At the NMA Board Meeting, Mr. Pruitt asked Deck to come in to talk about issues affecting the coal industry, and Arch Coal in particular.
