Attached please find the survey form, completed by our Mr. T. T. Moore. The data reflects a suamary of actual experience, or an engineering estimate based on maintenance > records. With regard to seal leakage, the figures reported do not segregate incidences of leakage at double versus single mechanical seals. Maintenance personnel suggest, however, that no significant advantage resulting from the recent installation of double seals has been apparent. This tends to confirm data Industry provided the Agency, prior to pro mulgation of the Vinyl Chloride Standard, against the requirements of Paragraphs 61.65(b)3(i), 61.65<b)3(iii) and 61.65(b)3(v).
