LIGHT LEVELS IN ENGINEERING LIBRARY
VIST/
At the request of employees, I measured the light levels in the engineering library to determine if they met recommended guidelines for this type of work location. The recommended level for this area is 100 foot candles. None of the areas surveyed currently have this level. Attached is a rough sketch of the work area and measured levels.
I recommend that the light levels be increased in this work area by whatever means is most practicable.
