February 6, 1997 MEMORANDUM OF SERVICES Our services to the Chemstar Vinyl Chloride Panel in the fourth quarter of 1996 included the following. We spoke with Has Shah and Elena concerning an estimate of our billings through the third quarter of 1996 and other matters relating to an upcoming conference call. We spoke with Bob Venezia, reviewed materials received from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, and circulated a memorandum concerning the potential listing of vinyl chloride as a reproductive toxin under Proposition 65. We reviewed agenda materials, including materials relating to a potential SIDS dossier for vinyl chloride. On November 8, we participated in a conference call of the Health Committee. We spoke with Connie Deford and Cynthia Barrett about the Panel's comment on potential listing of vinyl chloride under Proposition 65. We obtained and reviewed the comment, made needed changes, and spoke with Has Shah and Bob Venezia about filing of the comment. We reviewed the agenda and attended a Health Committee meeting on November 26. We followed up with Bob Venezia as to the plans to invite Charles Auer of EPA to attend the January 8 HAP Task Force meeting to discuss SIDS. We also provided Venezia materials on EPA's draft air toxics strategy, public comments, and EPA's response inviting stakeholder participation.
