Although the isobutane cracking technology differs greatly from the P-2 Process technology they both convert paraffins to olefins and both are used to manufacture propylene. I became aware of the state of the license agreement through Foster-Wheeler at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Convention in Los Angeles last week. I am concerned that the licensing agreement'b'e written-so that the grant back provisions and the technology definition be such that there can be no cross-over between isobutane cracking and P-2. We do not have the right to commit TRW to a situation where Foster-Wheeler has some rights to a portion of the P-2 Process. I recommend that we take all measures possible to eliminate the chance of such a situation arising. N To this end, I request that you clear with Mr. Brown the parti cipation by either you or myself in any negotiations in the future concerning this licensing agreement. CED0006961
