HEW YORK, OCTOBER 18, i960 - Harold Rowe, formerly director and vice president of National Lead Company, died October 17, i960 in Mystic, Connecticut.
Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1890, Mr. Rowe was graduated from Princeton University in 1911- In the same year he joined the white lead sales department of National Lead Company. He advanced through sales and administrative positions in pigment and paint products and in 1938 he was elected vice president, member of the board of directors, and. member of the executive committee. For many years he was an active member of the New York Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association and in 1930 served as president. Mr. Rowe's retirement in 1950 completed a 39 year association with National Lead Company.
He is survived by his wife Katherine; a son. Dr. Robert P. Rowe of Jtystic, and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Esherick of San Francisco and Mary Jane Rowe of New York.
