Seven deaths were due to toxic exposures. Two millwrights working in a caisson were asphyxiated by nitrogen gas leaking trom a pipe. Another worker, a pest control operator who was not using a respirator, was fataliv poisoned by the cyanide gas he was using to exterminate bees.
