By fi1ing this comment, we are not agreeing that interagency review on this rulemaking should start on July 2. As some o f you know, SBA Advocacy has a lrea d y f i 1ed public comments recommendi ng th at EPA withdraw the proposed r u l e . EPA did not e s t a b li sh th at there are unreasonable r i s k s from use o f th i s product th at cannot be accommodated by r i s k management requi rements or other means, in l i e u o f a ban o f unknown scope now being considered by the agency. The SBREFA report co ntain s much useful d is c u s s io n about the 1ack of safe a l t e r n a t i v e s th at are e q u a lly e f f e c t i v e , among other important i s s u e s . With regard to the s u b - 1 e t h a lit y acute en d p o in ts, the excerpted document does not e s t a b l i s h th at (1) there i s a s i g n i f i cant number o f sub-1ethal acute e f f e c t s experienced by consumers and workers or (2) th at the s u b -le th a l e f f e c t s are s u f f i c i e n t l y adverse and i nvolve more than temporary adverse e f f e c t s to support a r eg u la to ry determ in atio n .
