A review of our figures would indicate that the raw material cost only on asbestos free Pre-Mixed Joint Compound is 15% higher than that same product made with asbestos. As to testing of substitute materials, we attach copy of a report which is self-explanatory covering both Attapulgus Clay (Attapulgite) and Calcium Carbonate We trust this provides the additional information you desired for your final determination on the subject.
