Gardiner, President S. 7. Beeves, Vise President A* M. Wilson, Vice President Leonard T. Beale, Director The meeting was called to order by Xr. J. V. Gardiner, who presided, and Xr* A* M* Wilson reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of the meeting of May 24, were read and approved* Mr. L. T, Beale and Xr. J, W. Gardiner summarised the discussion which was held Xay 26, in lew York, with regard to the operation of our White-Lead Department. Xr. Beeves presented figures comparing tons produced with the cost per ton for the four major preduets of our Metal Department, for the first four months of this year, indicating that on a cost per ton basis the Lewie Metal Division stood in first position among other branches, for X4got Lead, Bar and Pig Solder| fifth in the Babbitt and Pipe Depart ment and slightly below the Batienal Lead Company's average in the Lead Pipe Department. Mr. Gardiner discussed the problem of reducing sales, advertising and promotion expenses in the White-Lead Division of John T. Lewis & Bros. Company. Mr. Gardiner stated that steps had already been taken and more were contemplated to accomplish this end. The regular weekly report of shipments for the period ending May 28, was presented by Hr.
