I have just read a brief submitted to the Tariff Board by your people with relation to dibasic Lead Stearate. I was very interested in the comments in the brief relating to dibasic Lead Phthalate and the fact that you were contemplat ing having certain lead chemicals of this 'type manufactured for you on a toll basis. As you know, our plant in St. Johns, Quebec is basic in lead chemicals, making certain chemicals from Pig Lead to be used in subsequent manufacture of pigment colors. We have been interested for sometime in broadening the base of our St. Johns operation and have watched with in terest the Canadian imports on these chemicals. We would be very much interested in any possibilities for our manufacture of lead chemicals for you.
