Monsanto has had to defend itself in a few of these lawsuits seeking reimbursement for caulk cleanups. I don't know of any personal injury lawsuits involving children. It appears to rely heavily on a news release from New York Lawyers in the Public Interest, as well as the EPA's recent guidelines on addressing the PCB's in caulk issue. It quotes parents who have filed suits on this issue. The story also quotes David O. Carpenter, no doubt the same person who testified as a plaintiff's witness in the Anniston PCB cases. As you know, we have a stand-by media statement dealing with the caulk issue should it lead to inquiries.
