The application seeks a determination that the Chicago plant has already implemented engineering and work practice controls to the extent feasible, but that these controls are unable to reduce ambient air lead levels to the 200 microgram level. We have asked OSHA to permit the continued use of respiratory pro tection in combination with all other controls in order to com ply with 29 C.F.R. 1910.1025(e)(1).
