I hear it's coming from USGS today.. I don't know if there is an appointee over there, but since they are part of DOI, I thought I would check with you first to see if you have a copy and if we can discuss. While they are not able to share the report, we have been told the following: More than 180 pesticides and their byproducts were detected in the 100 streams sampled. Complex mixtures occur with an average of 52 compounds identified at a site. One or more health-based benchmarks was exceeded in more than half the streams, and two or more pesticides exceeded a benchmark in a quarter of the streams. However, benchmarks for fish were only exceeded in 5 of the 100 streams. Although many pesticides were detected, only a few were predicted to be major contributors to toxicity: atrazine, acetochlor, metolachlor, imidacloprid, fipronil, and organophosphate insecticides Marietta and her staff are available to answer any questions.
