I'm dreadfully sorry about the delay in my receipt of your letter. The first, addressed to Green Street, arrived there after Lueil and I hjad returned to Cincinnati (still 345 Besor Avenue, zip cod - 45320) afid was delayed in being forwarded because no one was is residence there at the time. The second one you addressed to Irene Campbell arrived on my desk at the Laboratory today. I believe the other, to LUcile's sister, came to our attention via a telephone call from Gladys after the first copy of it had arrived in Cincinnati, and was not forwarded. The trouble in reaching me came about, I regret to say, because of our being in San Francisco only until February IS, and then being out of circulation, so to speak, for about two weeks thereafter. 11 continue to work at the Laboratory in Emeritus capacity, and expect to do so for some time to corns. I |have written to the Detroit Laboratory of Ethyl Corporation so as to Xdt them know about the situation of which you have told me.
