Mr. Be< Ibury stated that most of the difference or imbalance of 21503# was due to the si cars shipped on 8-1-77, where he stated that Carbide reported ship ping 1,016,23: i# as compared to Diamond's receiving 992100#, or a difference of 24139#. Acco: ding to my records, we showed shipping 1,000,260# (scroll attached] and not 1,016 239#, which would make a difference between shipped and received of 8160#. Ou records was adjusted by this amount to affect a new balance due Diamond of 2, 78,747# as compared to your 2,792,090# or a difference of 15.343# as of January 33, 1978. Please note that the attached scroll indicates that several shipments from Diamond during July, 1977, there is evidence of 15,979# heels left in tank cars or the approxi mate amount of the imbalance.
