OSHA says that the asbestos fibers contained in spackling and taping compounds used to cover dry-wall joints may expose workers to more vapors of asbestos fibers than are pezmissable under the OSHA Law. OSHA field staff personnel have been alerted to this potential hazard and will be adding it to their list of inspection items.
