That is great news - looking forward to meeting you. Please let me know if any of your colleagues can make it, so we can keep track of numbers. In terms of sampling, we will present guidance on sampling equipment to use and

what not to use and provide references to allow attendees to follow up in more detail as required. Similarly, analysis will run through the most common analytical techniques for PFAS and the information that is provided. Most of the focus will be on soil, groundwater and surface water sampling and analysis but if there is another media that you are interested in let me know and I will see if we can cover that as well. We have recently completed a project with the Environment Agency writing internal guidance for PFAS Good Practice in the Context of Land and Groundwater Contamination and hence have good connections. However, by all means pass the invite to your site inspector if you feel they may be interested. Regards,

Hi Thank you for extending this invite to us - I'd like to accept this invite (I do not have any dietary requirements). I'm just waiting to hear from a couple of colleagues to see if they can make it too. The workshop content looks good, we'd interested in understanding what you have to present on sampling and analysis procedures. Are you able to let us know who else has been invited/attending the workshop? Anyone from the Environment Agency? I'd be happy to pass this over to our site inspector. Kind regards,

Dear Sir / Madam,
Please forgive the unannounced email. I am a Environment, Water and Energy Team.

within AECOM's
We are fortunate to have AECOM's Global PFAS Water Treatment lead,
in the UK in November and
have taken the opportunity to organise a presentation and workshop to be held at AECOM's Birmingham office
(Colmore Building, 20 Colmore Circus Queensway, Birmingham B4 6AT) on 16th November 2023 from 2:00pm-
6:00pm. This presentation will provide an opportunity to explore sources, fate and transport, regulation and
remediation techniques for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Further information is provided in the
attached invitation.
As a PFAS manufacturer I wondered if you would be interested in attending this free workshop. We would be grateful if you could RSVP to this email by Monday 4th November to let us know whether you will be attending. If you would kindly let us know of any specific dietary requirements in your reply, we would be most grateful.
In addition, if you have any specific issues regarding PFAS that you would like to put to our specialists before the workshop, please do let me know by return.
I hope to be able to welcome you to the AECOM Birmingham office, for what promises to be a fascinating workshop.
Regards,
