Dear
Thank you again for your message and interest in the broad PFAS restriction proposal.
Unfortunately, since ECHA's scientific committees are currently in the process of evaluating a broad restriction proposal on PFAS, we are at the moment not able to participate in this type of events.
For your information, you can find the Annex XV report and all other documents relevant to the broad restriction proposal on PFAS in ECHA's registry of restriction intentions. At the end of the process, once the opinions are adopted by the committees, they will be published on ECHA's website and made available to the public. Similarly, the advice from ECHA's Enforcement Forum on the enforceability of the restriction proposal will be published on ECHA's website.
The best way to stay up to date with the latest developments is to regularly consult ECHA's dedicated page on PFAS at https://echa.europa.eu/hot-topics/perfluoroalkyl-chemicals-pfas
For any further queries you may have, please kindly refer to the ECHA contact webform: https://echa.europa.eu/contact
Best regards, on behalf of the universal PFAS restriction team

1
Many thanks for your email.
I fully understand that
is unavailable. Just to clarify, this would be a conference call and we
have not set a time, so we are flexible to adapt to the speaker's agendas.
Would you have recommendations of other colleagues within ECHA that could discuss the ECHA's efforts around PFAS? We have many clients who are interested in this topic and would be very interested to discuss it with experts, and have struggled so far to host anyone from the ECHA, when we have found it much easier in other EU regulatory bodies.
Many thanks,
From: echasupport@echa.europa.eu <echasupport@echa.europa.eu>

Dear
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to introduce my firm, Capstone, which is an independent policy analysis firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., and London that specialises in sectors ranging from financial services to clean energy.
We have been following the European PFAS regulation space for a while, particularly the PFAS ban proposal from January 2023 and how it is proceeding across the different legislative stages. We are looking to host an expert on the topic on a conference call with our investor clients. These events are opportunities for policymakers and regulators to exchange views with investors on the relevant issues.
Examples of our past lunches, recent virtual events and conference calls include:
*
, Policy Officer, Unit C1 on Renewables & CCS Policy, Directorate-General for Energy,
European Commission (EC)
*
, Policy Officer, Directorate on Green Transition and Energy System Integration, DG
Energy, EC
*
, Director General for Energy and Security, UK BEIS
*
, Deputy Head of Unit for Sustainable and Intelligent Transport, Directorate-General
Mobility and Transport, EC
*
, former Head of Air Pollution and Energy Efficiency at the International Maritime
Organisation (IMO)
* H.E. Dr.
, Group CEO of ADNOC
*
, General Counsel of the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
*
- Head of Low Carbon Fuels at the UK Department for Transport (UK DfT)
We are hoping to organise a virtual conference call in February on the topic and wanted to have an expert on the line such as yourself. We are certain that your expertise would be of particular value to our investor clients, many of whom are struggling to understand the details and nuances of the proposed restrictions.
The format will be a 30-45 minutes call. We would send you a discussion points before the event. We
3
are flexible on this date as we understand your schedule must be particularly busy - but if there is any availability for a call we would be pleased to work with your assistant to organise the discussion and host you.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
