RESULTS
Based on visual observations, the water control solution and the 0.5,1.0, and 50 mg/L test solutions were clear and had no color. The 500 and 5000 mg/L test solutions were cloudy with a surface film and undissolved test material present. At 24 hours, the 500 and 5000 mg/L test solutions were clear and had undissolved test material at the bottom of the test vessels, and a surface film. The remaining test solutions and control remained unchanged throughout the study. Immobilities were 0,0,0,30,100, and 100% in the 0,0.5,1.0,50,500, and 5000mg/L test concentrations, respectively. The 48-hour EC^, based on nominal concentrations and immobility, was between 50 and 500 mg/L. All water quality parameters were within acceptable limits.
CONCLUSIONS
H-22762 exhibited slight toxicity in a 48-hour, unaerated, static acute test using Daphnia magna.
