Thanks, Brian -- and thanks, Scott. It's great to connect with you. I will send over hard copies as soon as they are available, which should be sometime next week.
Regarding a prior relationship with Zinke: We have been in touch with several of his legislative staffers over the past two years, but we have not had much direct contact with Secretary Zinke.
Thanks again, and I look forward to staying in touch,

Does PERC have a prior relationship with Secretary Zinke?

Scott,
As promised here is a copy of PERC's new report with ideas for the Department of Interior. It just went live on-line yesterday. Printed copies to follow.
Given your unique position at Interior and as we discussed, it would be great if you could get a copy into the hands of the appropriate folks up there at the agency, yourself included of course! PERC can be a great follow up resource on any of the research and concepts presented. As fellow Montanans at PERC, we really want to do what we can to help Secretary Zinke have a successful term in office and success in addressing these significant issues. And as you will find, many of these ideas go straight to the three priorities the Secretary laid out for the agency.

I have cc'd PERC's executive director Reed Watson and its Director of Publications and research fellow Shawn Regan. Both were instrumental in putting this together. Shawn is a former NPS ranger as well.
Thanks again Scott for agreeing to help get this to the right folks. Let us know if there's any follow up we can do.
Cheers,
Brian Yablonski
