In other oases, I possibly hare inoluded things that, after oareful examination, you may with to omit. The olaiaa mads in this Paper would be difficult or imposs ible to prove on any one formula* As a matter of faet, if the formula had all the defects listed here, it oould not very well be cons idsred aa a praotloal formula. I believe, however, that we oan demonstrate the advantages of using lithopone by the use of formulas that might show the partioular weakness. In most oases, the real advantage of lithopone will show up Then a formula is olose to obtaining the de sired property and when lithopone ia added, the desired properties will then bs obtained. The formula used here i*s worked out here in the laboratory but, naturally, doea inoorroate a large number of ideaa obtained from many souroes. lbs amounts of the ingredients used are based on aotual work in the laboratory, and obtained by formulating at different levels.
