An agenda for the meeting is attached. The meeting will be held at Conoco. We plan to start at 11:00 a.m. and will have lunch provided. Conoco and Vista have been concerned about the inability of G&M to adhere to the time-frames outlined in the Agreement signed in April of this year. Recent events regarding the discovery of the improper installation of three additional monitor wells (WC-7, WB-4, WBP-12) have also caused us to seriously question the suspect/non-suspect criteria currently being used to detect improperly installed wells. The last three wells found to be improperly installed were not found to be suspect by the current criteria. The Louisiana DEQ has also expressed concern regarding the integrity of the wells installed by G&M and asked for information on the status of all G&M wells. It is anticipated that the State may require us to evaluate all G&M wells in a fashion similar to what they observed during the P&A activities associated with WC-7 and WB4. ^ For the reasons discussed above, as well as our desire to reduce the risk of environmental damage from improperly installed wells, Conoco and Vista must move ahead to quickly and aggressively evaluate the G&M wells and take actions necessary to address wells found to be a problem. G&M's response to date does not meet that need.
