This hose is new in my office and certainly there is a strong smell of rubber that permeates the atmosphere. It occurs to me you might like to test this out in some manner. This is a Davis Hose 1902 A. The Socony safety man would like to have our thoughts on the durability of such hose and any thing else that an investigation would bring to light.
