Under the EO, there is a direction to DOI and DOC to "immediately take actions to override existing activities that unduly burden efforts to maximize water deliveries," and there is a February 8 deadline for DOC and others to submit a report "on all authorities, including emergency authorities, available to ensure, require, maintain, or use infrastructure necessary to fight and prevent massive wildfires in Southern California." We have discussed this issue with our new political team and they have asked us to reach out to you.
